Their hesitance is due to uncertainty about Google's previous announcement that it would restrict Huawei's access to updates of the Android operating system in compliance with a U.S. ban. So, if you're confused about everything that's happened in the Huawei ban saga so far, here's a timeline of how the Huawei ban has unfolded so far.

The Trump administration last week put Huawei on a blacklist that effectively barred USA firms from selling the Chinese company computer chips and other components without government approval.

On Wednesday, U.K. -based chip design firm ARM also reportedly severed ties with Huawei, per the BBC, which cited an internal memo with mentions of ARM using "U.S. origin technology". The company's online store no longer has the product listing for the Huawei laptop.

Microsoft spokesman Frank Shaw has declined to discuss what actions Microsoft will take to comply with USA restrictions on Huawei and he couldn't be immediately reached to comment on the catalog change.

Rise of the Machines tried to tie off Cameron's story, despite the fact that Terminator 2: Judgement Day's ending is ideal as is. Much cooler were the effects used to reveal Mackenzie Davis as a new kind of Terminator who seems to think she's human somehow.

IQE Plc: U.K. -based maker of semiconductor wafers used in chips said on May 24 that the USA ban of Huawei could lead to delay in orders and the need for adjustment of supplier managed inventory levels, mainly in its wireless business unit.

The exemption has enabled Google to provide software updates to Huawei phones that run on Android through to August 19. Google, focused on internet-related services and products, cut its business deals with Huawei that involve the transfer of hardware and software.

"At present, Matsushita Group supplies normal products to Huawei".

Without the license, Huawei wouldn't be able to sell smartphones with Google's services, including Maps, Gmail, and Google Assistant, essentially forcing the company to come up with their own back-up plan or risk losing market share.

US delays Huawei ban for 90 days
However, the company is still not allowed to launch any new products that require technology from any US-based company. This could "completely undermine" Huawei on 5G, it added.

Huawei shipped 59.1 million smartphones in the first quarter of 2019, making it the second best-selling smartphone maker globally, just after Samsung, according to research firm IDC.

The Huawei-manufactured Nexus 6P has also been removed from the site, though it was never part of the Recommended program - only the "Enterprise Solutions Directory" that contains thousands more devices.

Within Huawei, fostering a new ecosystem of widely used apps to go with the operating system will be the biggest challenge and it would take at least two to three years, according to a person familiar with the matter.

As expected, U.S. companies started reacting to the executive order issued by President Trump with Google leading by saying: "We are complying with the order and reviewing the implications".
