DOJ: Mueller report to be released Thursday

DOJ says Attorney General William Barr will release special counsel Robert Mueller's redacted report on the Russian Federation investigation Thursday morning.

But according to multiple reports, people at the White House are seriously concerned about what the Mueller report, even in redacted and pre-spun form, will show when it's released to the public this Thursday.

Barr wrote Congressional leaders last month with the special counsel's top-line findings, revealing that Team Mueller concluded that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russian Federation.

Barr also wrote that Mueller presented evidence "on both sides" about whether Trump obstructed justice, but he did not draw a conclusion one way or the other.

Tesla Refutes Reports About Cutting Investment at Gigafactory
Moreover, the article states that Panasonic intends to freeze its investments in Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai as well. Although Panasonic is Tesla exclusive battery supplier, its deal with the electric automaker is not exclusive.

Democrats in Congress have demanded that Barr provide them with Mueller's full report - and all the evidence behind it.

The Department of Justice and special counsel's team have reportedly been working on redacting information such as grand jury testimony, classified information, and materials related to ongoing investigations. But Barr's statement in the letter that "most" of Trump's actions that had raised questions about obstruction were "the subject of public reporting" suggested that some actions were not publicly known. "Everyone will soon be able to read it on their own", Barr said of the report.

After Barr released his four-page letter, Trump claimed "complete and total exoneration", condemned "an illegal takedown that failed" and accused unnamed political enemies of treasonous acts.

The House Judiciary Committee is poised to issue a subpoena for the report's redacted portions. Rosenstein, who oversaw the Mueller probe, defended Barr in an interview on April 11.

After his dramatic arrest , he was taken to Westminster Magistrates' Court and found guilty of a British charge of breaching bail. Sweden, meanwhile, has tapped prosecutor Eva-Marie Persson to look into whether the reopening of the rape inquiry can be pursued.

Barr's comments were criticized by Democrats, who are already skeptical of how the attorney general has handled the report's release.

"We know with certainty why they interfered and what they were trying to do but we don't know a lot of details", he said.

"I have said, and I'll say again, 'No thank you, Mr. Attorney General".

The announcement comes after Attorney General William Barr testified before Senate lawmakers last week that the highly-anticipated report would be released "next week".
