The UK's Brexit Conundrum: What happens now?

British PM May walks outside Downing Street in London

It has been a bruising week for the Prime Minister, with her Cabinet in open revolt as the focus on her leadership intensified.

British Prime Minister Theresa May speaks ahead of a vote on Brexit in Parliament in London, Britain, March 13, 2019, in this screen grab taken from video.

Shrewsbury and Atcham MP Mr Kawczynski acknowledged that the Prime Minister's deal was now the "only game in town".

But May continues to fight to build support for her plan, which is expected to put before lawmakers for a third time next week, possibly on Tuesday. "I doubt I can take that risk", he said after talks with local Tories, farmers and businesses.

Next week, May will be hoping that the threat of a longer delay to Brexit will convince Conservative rebels to finally back her revised withdrawal agreement.

USA senate votes to end support for Saudi war
The West, including the US , has provided the coalition with billions of dollars in arms, in addition to logistical support. Khashoggi was killed and dismembered inside the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul, his remains have not been found.

The Independent Group's Brexit spokeswoman Anna Soubry said: "This is a betrayal of Labour Party members and voters, Labour MPs, Labour's conference policy and, most importantly, the British public".

The past week's votes have exposed divisions in the UK's two largest parties.

Mr Dodds said: "We are not discussing cash in these discussions".

"There are still issues to be addressed in our discussions".

The vote was defeated by a margin of 334 votes to 85, meaning it would not have passed even if Labour MPs who abstained had supported it. This aims to address the potential problems posed by the border between Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland, which is a member of the EU. "The time has come where we must see a broad majority that goes beyond the party lines". Instead, this is the time for Parliament to declare it wants an extension of Article 50 so that, after two-and-a-half years of vexed negotiations, our political leaders can finally decide on what Brexit means. He added that "as long as this isn't clear, Brexit can only be delayed for a few weeks, exclusively to avoid a chaotic withdrawal March 29".

U.S. warns Germany over use of 'untrusted vendors' in 5G network
In an interview with business daily Handelsblatt, Huawei's chief for West Europe, Vincent Pang, said the US warning went too far. A spokesman for Altmaier said a letter had been received from the embassy, and the ministry would respond in a timely manner.

Former U.K. Independence Party leader Nigel Farage, who joined marchers Saturday, said that "if politicians think they can walk all over us, we're going to march back and tell them they can't".

The move would require the agreement of the other 27 European Union members, with talks about any conditions for an extension set to begin before leaders gather at a summit next week.

Britain is expected to seek a short delay if lawmakers finally pass a twice-rejected European Union withdrawal deal, or a longer one if they don't.

The European Commission said it would be down to the bloc "to consider such a request, giving priority to the need to ensure the functioning of the EU institutions and taking into account the reasons for and duration of a possible extension".

After months of political deadlock, Britain's House of Commons voted 413-202 Thursday to ask the E.U.to delay the country's exit.
