Boeing in crisis with worldwide grounding of 737 MAX jets

As countries and airlines around the globe ground their 737 MAX planes Boeing continues to claim its planes are safe to fly

More than 60 nations and airlines around the world have grounded the Boeing 737 Max, the aircraft model that was involved in the Ethiopian Airlines crash that killed 157 people.

"The ground will remain in effect pending further investigation, including examination of aircraft's flight data recorders and cockpit voice recorders".

He said there are similarities between the Ethiopian Airlines flight profile and that of a Lion Air flight involving the same aircraft that crashed off the Indonesian coast in October.
