Ted Cruz: Americans outside D.C. don't care about Russian Federation investigation

President Donald Trump listens as he leads a roundtable discussion on border security with local leaders Friday Jan. 11 2019 in the Cabinet Room of the White House in Washington

President Donald Trump has avoided giving a direct answer when asked if he now is or has ever worked for Russian Federation after a published report said his behavior gave federal law enforcement officials reason to begin investigating whether he had worked for the us adversary.

Dowd, who represented Trump from June 2017 until his resignation on March 22, 2018, was responding to a Times report from Friday that the FBI opened the investigation into Trump in the eight-day window in May 2017 between the firing of James Comey as FBI director and the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel.

President Donald Trump's efforts to hide his conversations with President Vladimir Putin of Russian Federation and new details about the FBI investigation into his ties to Moscow have intensified debate over his relationship with Russian Federation, adding fuel to Democrats' budding investigations of his presidency and potentially setting up a clash between the White House and Congress. "It's a disgrace that you even asked that question because it's a whole big fat hoax".

Prior to that, Nunes had been one of the lead surrogates for the president pressing back on the narrative of the Russian Federation investigation when he was chair of that committee.

Is it the China slowdown or is it just Apple?
Apple had previously estimated it would earn revenues of $89 to $93 billion in the most recent quarter. It's the first time since 2002 that Apple issued a reduction in its quarterly revenue forecast.

There are no detailed records of five personal meetings President Donald Trump has had with Russian President Vladimir Putin, The Washington Post reported Saturday, citing USA officials.

When he was asked by a friendly Fox News interviewer on Saturday whether he was working for Russia, Trump offered a non-denial, saying only he was insulted by the question. "I think it's the most insulting article I've ever had written and if you read the [New York Times] article you see that they found absolutely nothing".

Engel said the House Foreign Affairs Committee he chairs is working with the intelligence committee to discuss a possible subpoena of the Trump-Putin interpreter.

According to Trump, "the FBI was in complete turmoil. because of Comey's poor leadership" and the way he handled the investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private server to send some government emails.

Todd Bowles to join Tampa Bay Buccaneers as defensive coordinator
That's likely why Arians could be named the team's coach as early as Tuesday, according to the Times. Winston started the season with a three-game suspension over allegations he groped an Uber driver .

Rather than prioritize hearings on major geo-political developments and how they will affect American alliances, Engel said he wants, first and foremost, to investigate whether Trump has shaped his foreign policy in order to appease Russian president Vladimir Putin, who many believe holds some kind of leverage over him.

Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., the House minority leader, defended Trump's choice to talk privately with Putin or other leaders. White House officials also reiterated to the Post that some details of the president's Putin meetings have previously been made public - not kept secret.

The articles in the Post and Times as well as Bernstein's comments on Mueller's work underline how little is known about the special counsel's ongoing investigation, which approaches its third year this summer. "I certainly don't know what happened there, what they discussed", he said.

"You don't need me and McCarthy to make it", Dershowitz said.

Democrats demand TV rebuttal time to Trump's Tuesday address
But Trump has demanded more than $5 billion for a barrier, which he now says could be steel slats rather than the solid concrete. He appealed to Congress to end "this crisis" and for every American to "call Congress" and tell them to "secure our border".

Trump has repeatedly denied any collusion.
