The now-former CEO of Hacienda HealthCare, Bill Timmons, has also stayed silent about exactly what he knew and when he knew it. "It is my hope that justice will be served".

"Hacienda stands committed to doing everything in our power to bring this police investigation to a quick conclusion", a hospital spokesperson told ABC Phoenix affiliate KNXV.

"I haven't been able to sleep good at night because of what occurred here", Angela Gomez, a Hacienda patient's mother, said.

Azfamily.com, a news website for television stations KPHO and KTVK, first broke the news Thursday that a woman gave birth on December 29 at the Hacienda HealthCare facility, where staff was unaware that she was pregnant. We had consulted attorneys to determine whether it would be legal for our company to compel our employees to undergo DNA testing conducted through Hacienda or for Hacienda to conduct voluntary genetic testing of staffers. "I was confused. I was scared", she said.

Police have declined to comment on the investigation. It's also unclear if staff members at the facility were aware of her pregnancy until the birth.
