Cyberattack causes delays in major newspapers’ distribution

Computer virus hampers San Diego Union-Tribune's Saturday delivery

Kollias said there is no evidence customers' personally identifiable information or credit card had been impacted, nor was the information of subscribers, advertisers and online users.

It led to distribution delays in the Saturday edition of the Times, the Tribune, the Sun and other newspapers that share a production platform in Los Angeles.

In South Florida, delivery of the New York Times and the Palm Beach Post was also affected because the Sun Sentinel also prints their newspapers here.

PM Hasina: Pro-liberation forces will surely win
Sunday when polls opened, about 80 people had lined up to cast their ballot at a voting center in Dhaka's Uttara Model Town area. The pair were then imprisoned on corruption charges in 2007 by a military-backed government which had taken power in a coup.

Among the affected newspapers were the Baltimore Sun, the Chicago Tribune and the San Diego Union-Tribune as well as the New York Times' and the Wall Street Journal's West Coast editions.

Representatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation were not immediately available for comment.

"I apologize to our customers for this inconvenience". Teams from both companies were making progress against the virus, but weren't able to fix it before the newspapers went to print.

'Guardiola simply can not afford to lose to Liverpool'
Part of it is being in the right spot at the right time, but the confidence this gives will be huge. And all the other players which we picked, they adapted pretty well because of different reasons.

Los Angeles Times spokeswoman Hillary Manning said the company is working to resolve the computer problems, but delivery issues may linger throughout the weekend.

The Los Angeles Times, which runs the facility, said the computer virus infected systems that are associated with the printing process. "Thank you for your patience and support as we address the infection".

The San Diego Union-Tribune is said to have been hit particularly hard, as 85 to 90 percent of its Saturday edition didn't reach its subscribers.
