Vladimir Putin and the Saudi crown prince greet each other like old friends

Russian President Vladimir Putin greeted the prince with an energetic handshake and a broad smile, and Argentina's President Mauricio Macri, the summit host, was planning to privately meet with him on Saturday, Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie announced.

Meanwhile Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has told CNN that he saw all the intelligence held by the U.S. on the killing and said there was no direct evidence linking Prince Mohammed to the murder.

Meanwhile, bin Salman talked with world leaders as accusations swirled about the gruesome killing of Khashoggi, who was tortured before he died. He was last seen entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on 2 October.
