Ivanka Trump Defends Private Email Use, Claiming 'No Equivalency' With Clinton Case

Exclusive: Ivanka Trump defends use of private email, brushes aside Mueller probe

Ivanka Trump is now publicly defending her use of a private email account for government business, and insists there is no correlation between her actions and those her father hammered former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for during a brutal presidential campaign.

After insisting that the pictures are "devastating", Roberts asked her to comment on Donald Trump's directive to use lethal force "if necessary".

Last week the Washington Post reported the eldest daughter of President Donald Trump, whose official title is assistant to the president, a year ago sent hundreds of emails to White House aides, cabinet members, and her assistants from a personal email account.

"All of my emails are stored and preserved", she added. "There were no deletions".

Said Trump: "People who want to see it as the same see it as the same".

The president also defended his daughter's private email on Tuesday and told reporters 'they're all presidential records'.

Congressional Democrats are crying foul, suggesting that they'll launch an investigation in 2019 after they take over control of the House of Representatives.

Mr Trump had lambasted his presidential opponent Mrs Clinton for her use of a private email server for official work.
