Zverev tops Djokovic, captures ATP Finals title

Zverev defies boo-boys to stun Federer, sets up Djokovic final

Novak Djokovic defended Alexander Zverev after the German was booed following a controversial incident during his win over Roger Federer at the ATP Finals.

The German was in splendid form as he defeated the world No. 1 6-4 6-3 to end 2018 on a high and to become the youngest victor of this tournament since Djokovic himself back in 2008. "Overall it was a phenomenal season that I have to be definitely very proud of", ATP quoted Djokovic, as saying.

"I want to congratulate Novak on a great week and how you played in the second half of the season".

Considering how tired both men had looked in their previous matches, the two of them went hammer and tong in the first set.

Djokovic had beaten Zverev comfortably in the round-robin phase on Wednesday, but he looked edgy.

The new offering was added in October without much attention, according to AdAge . Rohit Dhawan , director of product management at YouTube, told AdAge .

It's not outside of the realm of possibility for multiple Americans to make the season-ending championships: After all, back in 1989, five players from the USA qualified for the year-end Masters, as it was known then, in NY.

In the first set is closer to the victory was Isner - with the score 6:5 American at the reception earned a set-bol, but Zverev managed to turn the game into a tie-break. Despite two Masters series wins and his latest triumph in London, Zverev has yet to make much of an impact in the four majors and has only made one quarter-final - at the French Open this year.

The problem for Federer is that Novak Djokovic is back as world number one after elbow surgery and a spell of indifferent form and is dominating the men's game again. "I hope I can do great. but just chill out a little bit". I didn't understand what he said.

The young boy sparked controversy during the second set of the semi-final at the ATP World Tour finals.

Despite Djokovic cruising to the final - he hadn't even dropped serve en route to Sunday's match - the young German had other plans after dumping out six-time victor Roger Federer earlier.

Can Trump quash the White House press corps?
The White House responded that it would come up with a code of conduct for the press at briefings, which hadn't existed before. Trump later called Acosta's behaviour distracting and disrespectful. "You have to practise decorum", he added.

"But I'm happy he won the big title because we have a really good and friendly relationship".

"Sampras once upon a time said, if you win a slam, it's a good season", Federer told reporters.

Chants of "Let's Go Roger, Let's Go" reverberated around the darkened arena as the second-set tiebreak began and there were boos as Zverev stopped a rally when trailing 3-4 because a ballboy had dropped a ball.

Zverev, billed as the player most likely to lead the sport into a new golden era once the holy trinity of Roger Federer, Djokovic and Rafael Nadal have hung up their rackets, took full advantage of an off-key Serb to win 6-4, 6-3. He, however, added that there is need to focus on the positive things that happened to him in last six months instead of feeling disappointed over the loss.

"I really can't describe it". If we put things in perspective, it was an awesome year, a great comeback so thanks for helping me get to where I am.
