No sign of assault in Saudi sisters' deaths

The bodies of Tala Farea 16 and Rotana Farea 22 were found duct-taped together in the Hudson River

According to Shea, investigators believe the sisters left Fairfax, Virginia, on either August 23 or 24 and took different methods of transportation, including Uber, to NY, where they arrived on or about September 1.

They were students who were accompanying their brother in Washington, according to the Royal Consulate General of Saudia Arabia.

Rotana Farea was enrolled at George Mason University in Fairfax, but left in the spring.

Shea provided some details into the Farea sisters' lives over the past year, as well as their arrival in this city, during a news briefing on Friday afternoon.

"Embassy officials have not communicated with family members in relation to their seeking asylum, if this is indeed the case", the official said.

Police said the sisters - who had a history of running away from home - left their family home in Fairfax and were placed in a shelter after an earlier disappearance, in December 2017. Those reports have not yet been corroborated by the NYPD, Shea said. The cause of their deaths has yet to be determined.

They appeared in good health on security video police located from about a week before their bodies were found, Shea said.

Terrorists slaughter Coptic Christians in Egypt
Unconfirmed reports say children were among the casualties of the attack by "terrorist elements", according to a security source. About 30 people are killed. "Do they want us to hate Muslims?" He had earlier said the bus was approaching the monastery.

"I can't talk about it", she said.

The New York City police said Friday there is no credible evidence that the two Fairfax County sisters whose bodies were found near the Hudson River last week were victims of a crime.

How did they end up in NY?

"They never spoke", the neighbour said.

What did the sisters do before their deaths?

The sisters maxed out a credit card ordering food and staying at a number of luxury hotels along with shopping at various locations during their time in New York City.

Detectives are also investigating claims they applied for asylum to remain in the United States.

Farmers and members of India's tribal communities protested the statue before it was unveiled. Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Patel hail from Gujarat state.

The women were found lying on rocks near the river, fully-clothed, both wearing black jackets with fur trim and black leggings.

"We're looking at a two month gap here, from August to now, when their bodies discovered in the water". "They just came and went".

"A "credible" eyewitness reached out to the NYPD on 31 October, telling them he had "a story that is haunting him" - his words", Shea said.

The witness said he was exercising at about 7 a.m. the day the Farea sisters' bodies were discovered.

A witness told detectives he had seen two women kneeling about 30ft apart near the Hudson River praying loudly for about 15 minutes on the morning of 24 October.

And it wasn't the first time the sisters vanished. They were reported missing on Sept 12.

"Details are still under investigation and will be shared in due course".
