Late fumble ends Packers chances in 29-27 loss to Rams

Todd Gurley broke free and was headed for the end zone in the final minute of Sunday's game between the Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers when he slowed and allowed himself to be tackled.

Michael Silver of NFL Media wrote a story after the game that said: "According to more than a half-dozen Packers players and coaches who witnessed it, Montgomery had thrown a tantrum of his own on Green Bay's previous offensive series, becoming noticeably enraged on the sideline after being removed from the game". "We got the win and that's all that matters".

The Rams iced the game away and it takes away what would have been a huge momentum boost for the Packers' season and greatly diminishes their margin for error the rest of the way.

Student shoots fellow student at North Carolina high school
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District said on Facebook that the weapon had been secured by law enforcement. Police said students who are not being picked up by parents will remain in school for classes.

"We talked about the game coming down to a two-minute drill, and this particular team I'm coaching, I think it may be the best thing we do on both sides of the ball".

"If you want to know if it was emotional in that locker room, you're damn right it was, and it should have been".

"I don't recall seeing a young man, particularly a rookie, play at that level", McCarthy said. If you have an opportunity to give one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time the ball back with two minutes remaining needing a field goal, you take the guarantee.

Explosive devices sent to Obama and Clintons
A day after CNN's NY headquarters were evacuated after receiving one of the devices, Trump lashed out at the media on Twitter . The package sent to CNN was apparently addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan , who served under President Obama.

"We wanted to put the ball in Aaron's hands", McCarthy said.

Support on the record for Montgomery from players was lukewarm after the game and even less so off the record. That was him saying, 'I'm gonna do me.' It's a f--ing joke. "I saw when he kind of slowed down, he knew what he was doing. I mean, it's '12"! "At least one player believed there was carryover from that incident to Montgomery's decision to disregard his coaches' instruction and return the kickoff".

Montgomery expressed dismay at the questioning of his character and team commitment. I've never been one to throw teammates under the bus. Montgomery's ended up being the incorrect one, apparently. Or, simply, Montgomery disobeyed and wanted to make a play in a crucial situation. I think the adversity swings of emotion in a football game are something this team handles very well.

Manchester United Identify Paul Pogba’s On- And Off-Pitch Replacement
It is unclear whether a personal hearing has been requested at the commission, that will be set in due course. As a matter of fact, the same trend as been witnessed in the team's last seven games in the Premier League.
