'Suspicious package' sent to building owned by Robert De Niro

Secret Service: Suspicious packages sent to Clintons, Obamas

President Trump addressed the suspicious packages, many of which were found throughout the day on October 24, during his speech at a campaign rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin.

X-ray images showed that the package addressed to De Niro contained a device similar to the pipe bombs found in other packages.

The official says it has similar markings and characteristics as the packages containing bombs sent to other prominent Democrats. The packages had a bubble wrap interior and were mailed in manila envelopes, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Like others, the return address was an address of Debbie Wasserman Shultz. But the packages sent to Democrats and critics of the president raised tensions before the November 6 midterm elections.

According to police, the device appears to be a similar device to the ones sent to top Democrats including former President Barack Obama and 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, as well as her husband, former President Bill Clinton. It matches the description of those sent to the other officials.

A CNN panel on Thursday warned that the crisis involving the serial bomber sending explosive devices to critics of President Donald Trump is far from over. The former Central Intelligence Agency director frequently appears on CNN. The NYPD bomb squad blocked off streets to haul the device away in a total containment vessel.

Authorities also located two suspicious packages addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden in DE, multiple law enforcement officials told CNN, the latest in a series of apparently connected packages sent to prominent critics of President Donald Trump and CNN.

Tesla and Musk later settled with the regulator by agreeing to pay US$20 million each and to make changes to management. Last week, a USA judge approved the settlement between the Securities and Exchange Commission, Tesla Inc and Elon Musk.

These are the ninth such packages being investigated this week.

Police were called at 4:45 a.m. Thursday about the package, which was on the building's seventh floor.

That follows a pipe bomb found in George Soros' mailbox by a property caretaker Monday afternoon in Katonah, N.Y. The package was hand-delivered. It was rendered safe in Bedford, New York, a law enforcement source told CNN.

"New York Police swarmed a building associated with the Hollywood actor in Tribeca early Thursday morning after the suspicious package was found", the Daily Mail reported.

Law enforcement officials in the city had already been under a heightened alert, increasing police presence after several bombs were intercepted on Wednesday.

What is in the manila envelopes with bubble wrap?

Each package had six Forever stamps on the envelope as well.

Then Salah Muhammed Al-Tubaigy, a lieutenant-colonel in the Saudi forensic department, cut the body into 15 pieces while listening to music.

"Let's say for example, that maybe these bombs aren't operational".

"Whoever is doing this is just trying to elicit a fear or disrupt something", Morris said. It was not immediately clear how many they discovered.

Mr Trump tweeted in June: "Robert De Niro, a very low IQ individual, has received too many shots to the head by real boxers in movies". Trump has repeatedly criticised CNN as "fake news" and disparaged the mainstream news media as an "enemy of the people".

Law enforcement officials gather near the scene of where a suspicious device was found early Thursday morning at Robert De Niro's Tribeca Grill restaurant, October 25, 2018, in New York City.

Yesterday, The United States went into a nationwide panic after several bomb threats targeted a variety of different parties, including Michelle & Barak Obama, The Clinton home, and CNN's headquarters. "We want all sides to come together in peace and harmony". And in doing so, he pointed the finger at the press.

But he said the media has a responsibility "to stop the endless hostility and constant negative and oftentimes false attacks and stories".
