A stronger cold front will arrive overnight and eventually bring an end to the rain by midday tomorrow. Overnight, any remaining scattered showers will diminish into mostly cloudy skies with a low of 70.

Ahead of that front, temperatures climb back into the low-80s.

Tonight: Scattered evening storms, showers after midnight, low of 55.

The cold front will pass through our area this evening with winds shifting to the northwest and showers/thunderstorms carried on east tonight, as colder air sweeps into northern IL and northwest Indiana.
