Denver Broncos: Earl Thomas doubtful to play on Sunday

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. on the sideline of their final preseason game against the Oakland Raiders

The Dallas Cowboys reportedly made a big trade offer for a star National Football League player in advance of the 2018 regular season.

"They believe the closer Seattle gets to the trading deadline with a disgruntled star who won't be back next season, the more conciliatory the Seahawks will become in their demands".

But Seahawks coach Pete Carroll foreshadowed that maybe something was going on when he was asked Monday if there had been any additional contact with Thomas and he paused and said there was "nothing to report".

Rangers Fans React Furiously To Scott Brown Dancing After Old Firm Derby
The 1-0 loss at Celtic Park, was the first time Gerrard has tasted defeat in the Rangers dugout in his 13 matches in charge. I spoke to him (the referee) and he disagreed but when he sees it (again) I think he will change his mind.

Thomas skipped the entire preseason while waiting for a contract extension - one that would likely pay him in the ballpark of $12 million per year based on the safety market in today's NFL.

Thomas posted to Instagram on Wednesday morning, saying he's never let his "teammates, city or fans down as long as I have lived and don't plan to start this weekend".

"Within the past week, Dallas upped its offer to the Seahawks for Pro Bowl safety Earl Thomas to a second-round pick, per sources".

Jurgen tells you what he wants. "And I answer the question". "I had great success last season". To the manager that finished fifth? Because he never win anything in worldwide for example...

The Cowboys' interest in Thomas remains strong. And luckily for Thomas, the Seahawks have agreed to waive the majority of his fines.

With Thomas now reporting to camp, a potential trade could be dormant. That likelihood, apparently, is enough to keep the Cowboys brass from ponying up whatever pot-sweeteners Seattle now wants. The Cowboys were content to stay put while Thomas refused to take part in Seattle's offseason program.
