Nike Has "No Plans" To Give Colin Kaepernick A Signature Shoe

New Nike ad campaign featuring Colin Kaepernick prompts burning response from some fans

"Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything", the ad featuring Colin's face reads.

The American football quarterback, 30, protested against racial injustice and police brutality by kneeling during the U.S. national anthem.

This offseason, the NFL said players would have the option of either standing on the sideline for the national anthem or waiting in the locker room. He has since become an ardent supporter of racial injustice and the treatment of people of color by police authorities.

Colin Kaepernick is a featured athlete on Nike's new slate of "Just Do It" advertisements, which commemorate the 30th anniversary of the iconic slogan's 1988 debut, ESPN reported Monday.

Trump to withhold 100,000 pages of Kavanaugh’s White House records
Republicans are expected to try to paint the nominee as an independent thinker and a principled jurist. He also said that limits on contributions to candidates "have some constitutional problems".

As expected, the ad campaign was met with strong opinions from both sides of the political spectrum.

Rich, one half of the Big & Rich and owner of Lower Broadway's Redneck Riviera honky-tonk, followed it up with a picture of his soundman after cutting out the Nike logo from his socks. Some NFL owners have said Trump made clear to them his feelings about demonstrations during the anthem and his intention to continue to raise the issue. "I think every athlete, every human and definitely every African-American should be completely grateful and honored how Colin and Eric are doing so much more for the greater good, so to say", Serena said.

Kaepernick's cause was taken up by other National Football League players last season, who launched protests that have been repeatedly slammed by US President Donald Trump.

Kaepernick, who led the San Francisco 49ers to the Super Bowl in 2013, left San Francisco at the end of the 2016 season and has not been picked up by a team since.

Pentagon to cut $300 million in aid to Pakistan
The chairman of Pakistan's senate foreign relations committee, Mushahid Hussain, said the proposed cuts were "a sop to India". In March, a senior USA official said Islamabad had "done the bare minimum to appear responsive to our requests".

While Nike has received a lot of criticism, others have come out in support. It is about respect for our Country, Flag and National Anthem.

Other have called for people to give their Nike items to homeless veterans instead of throwing them away or burning them.

Since he first opined on the national anthem controversy a year ago, president Trump has rarely missed an opportunity to reiterate his disgust at the NFL's failure to purge the league of ungrateful millionaires who disrespect our troops (by quietly calling attention to America's aberrantly high rate of police violence).
