Iran Rejects Trump Offer Of Talks As A Dream, Without Value

US President Donald Trump said on Monday he would be willing to meet Iranian leaders without preconditions to discuss how to improve ties after he pulled the United States out of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, saying, "If they want to meet, we'll meet".

President Trump may be looking to his North Korean playbook in his future dealings with the Iranian regime, saying he was "willing to meet" with leaders in Tehran should they agree to a new path forward on a series of global issues.

'No preconditions, no. If they want to meet, I'll meet anytime they want, anytime they want, ' he said.

"I'll meet with anybody", Trump said of a possible meeting with Iranian leaders during a joint press conference with Italy's prime minister. But on July 30, he said he "would certainly meet with Iran if they wanted to meet".

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani did not address Trump's comments on Tuesday, instead focusing on the "illegal" United States withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal back in May, in a statement posted on his official website.

Mourinho's dark mood casts shadow over Manchester United
Juventus had previously been seen as a potential destination for Martial but they have spent their budget on Cristiano Ronaldo . In 2014, Manchester United and Real Madrid attracted over 109,000 fans to their preseason match at "The Big House".

Bahram Ghasemi, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, said Monday there was no possibility of dialogue, and that the US had shown itself to be "totally unreliable". We got our prisoners back. The diplomacy that led to the Iran deal, for instance, would never even have taken off had it not been for Obama, in secret negotiations, accepting nuclear enrichment on Iranian soil.

Trump elicited Iran's furor in May when he unilaterally pulled the USA out of the 2015 nuclear accord the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany struck with Iran.

The United States has vowed to boost sanctions until Iran changes its regional policies, including its support for regional militant groups.

The three major European signatories to the 2015 deal - Britain, France and Germany - have been searching for ways to salvage it, but cautioned Tehran that they may not be able to persuade many major investors not to bolt from business with Iran to avoid USA punishment.

The United States is going after Iran in a rather smart fashion despite the childish rhetoric being traded on social media.

Top US official meets Afghan Taliban in Qatar
The United States and Afghanistan are also trying to arrange a second ceasefire with the Taliban over Eidul Azha. The strategy depends on the Afghan government's willingness to pull back its own forces.

Hours later, however, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo set some conditions for the meeting. "But negotiating with the Americans would be a humiliation now", he said.

Hamid Aboutalebi, an adviser to President Rouhani, tweeted in response to Mr Trump that "returning to the nuclear deal" and "respecting the Iranian nation's rights" would pave way for talks. "They want to meet, I'll meet, whenever they want".

"With current America and these policies, there will definitely not be the possibility of dialogue and engagement", Bahram Qassemi said at a Tehran news conference, according to The New York Times. And, of course, Tehran offered to open their nuclear program for full transparency.

In March 2003, the Iranians sent a comprehensive negotiation proposal to the George W. Bush Administration through the Swiss ambassador in Tehran. The President has been a strident critic of Iran, threatening the regime with "consequences" as recently as July 22, while his administration pursues a strategy that many see as regime change in all but name.
