Donald Trump Calls on DNC to Hand Over Email Server

President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin shake hands at the beginning of a meeting at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki Finland

Senator Pat Toomey released a statement in response to President Trump's joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"The Russian state has never interfered and is not going to interfere into internal American affairs including election process", Putin said. "President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial".

"I have been saying, getting along with Russian Federation is a good thing not a bad one and I really think the world wants to see us get along".

"People came to me, Dan Coats came to me, and some others - they said they think it's Russia", Trump said.

"President Trump has an army of elected officials, appointed officials and highly partisan members of the media who serve as his enablers, remaining silent, tacitly or explicitly endorsing statements they know to be untrue or policies they know to be unwise or risky", professor of American Studies Glenn Alt- schuler of Cornell University told The Straits Times.

Trump and Putin: Lack of concessions is cold comfort for bruised allies
Putin said allegations that Russian intelligence agencies had collected compromising information on Trump were "sheer nonsense ". There were no potential wins, except the chance of a move on nuclear proliferation, on which there ended up being none.

Trump tossing the USA intelligence community under the bus drew some interesting reactions.

President Trump said they would talk about a range of subjects, including trade, the military, nuclear weapons and China.

"It's clear that the Russians have done interference in the US elections and they will do more such interference because it was". Most Republicans said nothing. That is not just the finding of the American intelligence community but also the House Committee on Intelligence.

Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, head of the US intelligence community, reaffirmed his conclusion that Russian Federation had indeed tried to sway the election in a statement published after Trump's remarks.

The president said the summit was a first step building a bridge between the United States and Russian Federation.

Demi Moore rips Bruce Willis to shreds at comedy roast
Willis' ex-wife appeared on stage and, right from the get-go, it was clear that Moore wasn't going to go easy on him. The Comedy Central Roast of Bruce Willis is set to air on July 29 on Comedy Central .

"Our expectations are grounded in realism, but our hopes are grounded in America's desire for friendship, cooperation and peace", Trump said.

Kerry said that Trump's behavior was indicative of a larger set of problems.

A longtime Republican critic of Trump, retiring Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, said, "I never thought I would see the day when our American president would stand on the stage with the Russian president and place blame on the United States for Russian aggression". But it is in line with his comment in reference to a previous Putin denial that "I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it".

Maloney said Special Counsel Robert Mueller "will soon tell us the key piece - whether American citizens conspired with the now-indicted Russians". The president was also roundly condemned for stating he held "both countries responsible" for the deterioration in US-Russia relations. John Brennan, the Central Intelligence Agency director under President Barack Obama, gained wide attention for condemning Trump's remarks as "nothing short of treasonous". It seemed unlikely that American authorities would take seriously any such offer from Putin, and some US lawmakers openly ridiculed the suggestion.

Democrat Sean Patrick Maloney said, "For the first time in history, the American President has sided with a hostile foreign dictator over the Federal Bureau of Investigation and his own country".
