Out of 13 Rescued from Flooded Cave in Thailand

Thailand cave rescue: First boys rescued from trapped soccer team

Four of the boys were rescued on Sunday, and authorities said the next phase could begin any time within a 10-hour window that began about 7 a.m. Monday.

A source involved in the rescue mission who saw two of the four boys walk out of the cave told Reuters that they looked exhausted but healthy, adding that one even looked "vivacious and fresh".

The rescue started at 10 am Thai time and involved 13 worldwide divers and five Thai navy seals, who were described by Governor Narongsak as "an all-star team", reports the Daily Mail. Saman Kunan, a former officer in Thailand's elite Navy SEALs lost his life on Thursday after he was sent to lay oxygen tanks inside of an escape route, ABC reports.

It was not clear Monday morning whether divers had reentered the huge Tham Luang cave complex where the remaining nine people have been trapped for more than two weeks.

Rescue mission chief Narongsak Osottanakorn said it had resumed, with divers re-entering the cave at 11am local time (4pm NZT).

North Korea talks either 'very productive' or 'deeply regrettable'
However, Pompeo said the progress achieved thus far did not warrant any concessions. He stressed that denuclearisation was a condition for lifting sanctions.

A witness on the scene said they saw one person being carried on a stretcher from the cave into the ambulance around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Reuters reported.

Interior Minister Anupong Paojinda had said early Monday that the same group of expert divers who took part in Sunday's rescue would return to extricate the others because they know the cave conditions and what to do.

The three-and-a-half-hour mission, led by expert British divers, saw four children being calmly guided to safety after 15 days of being stuck in their fetid underground prison.

Eight of the 12 boys, ages 11 to 16, and their 25-year-old coach remained stranded as of Monday morning.

"The four children are well at Chiang Rai Prachanukroh hospital".

Workers have been labouring around the clock to pump water out of the cave, and authorities said Monday that heavy downpours overnight did not raise water levels inside.

Two divers accompanied each of the boys, all of whom have been learning to dive only since July 2, when the first searchers found them.

One Navy SEAL has already died since the rescue mission began. As of Sunday evening local time, four boys had been successfully removed from the cave. Last week, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk offered his support by promising to have a "kid-size submarine" built - and he came through with the help of engineers in his employ.

For the youngsters who have gone nearly two weeks with no nutrition - many of whom can't swim and have never been diving before - the challenge is incredibly hard and risky.

His visit with relatives and rescue officials last week was criticized by some Thais as opportunistic as his government faced pro-democracy protests in the capital Bangkok in recent months. Following torrential rainfall, the cave was quickly flooded and the group had to move several kilometers inward to find dry land.

Argentina vs France: Messi fan hangs self after Albicelestes’ exit
With qualification on the line, they required a late victor from defender Marcos Rojo to save them from group stage elimination. Messi set up a pair of goals but again failed to score in a knockout match at the biggest event in soccer.

The team of 12 boys and their coach entered the cave system on June 23, but torrential rain caused the water level within the cave to rise rapidly, forcing them to venture deeper.
