Trump aide who mocked McCain has left White House job

Trump aide who joked about ‘dying’ John McCain leaves White House under mysterious circumstances

White House aide Kelly Sadler was reported out of a job with the Trump administration on Tuesday after commenting that ailing Senator John McCain is "dying anyway"-but that apparently may not be the last of her in government". The source wouldn't say why Sadler was let go and said she might go to another administration job later on.

"Kelly Sadler is no longer employed within the Executive Office of the President", wrote Raj Shah, the principal deputy press secretary, in an emailed statement.

She stayed on staff for almost a month after saying in a May 10 closed-door meeting with White House communications staff that McCain's opposition to President Donald Trump's nomination of Gina Haspel for Central Intelligence Agency director "doesn't matter; he's dying anyway".

The Portuguese has become one of the biggest stars in world football since moving to Real from Manchester United in 2009. Meanwhile, the forward will miss Portugal's warm-up game against Belgium, as they prepare for the upcoming tournament.

But instead of a mass exodus, people are expected to leave one by one or in small groups as the White House tries to avoid a spate of negative headlines, or the impression that it's firing people for allegedly leaking information without any tangible evidence.

Sadler promised a public apology to Meghan McCain, but only apologized personally. McCain is battling brain cancer.

Sadler's comment was then leaked to the press and took over the news cycle for multiple days.

Sadler was a special assistant to President Trump, responsible for compiling and distributing talking points to administration allies.
