The new Gmail will roll out to all users next month

Gmail offline mode

The company originally launched an Early Adopter Program for the new Gmail redesign, which updates the service's look with a more modern Material Design appearance.

From there, gradually all G Suite users will be transitioned to the new Gmail across two phases.

But in July the new Gmail will move to general availability and G Suite users will gradually lose the option to opt out of the new design.

Users will have the option to opt out of using the new client for an additional four weeks. The company plans to make the new Gmail look available to all of its users in July, followed by a mandatory transition this fall.

Sadler's comment was then leaked to the press and took over the news cycle for multiple days. Sadler promised a public apology to Meghan McCain, but only apologized personally.

The newly designed Gmail has been an option for Gmail users for the past month but soon it will be the only choice.

As of now, the highly anticipated redesigned Gmail is an EAP, which means that the customers can choose to or opt out of participating at the levels of the domain and organizational unit. However, come July, administrators will have to give users in their organization the ability to opt-in if they want the new design.

And around 12 months after the launching of fresh Gmail, individuals who opted out will be automatically migrated to the new experience, and they won't be able to opt out then. In the meantime, Gmail urges users to begin testing the new Gmail.

It just seems that choice is, update or stop using Gmail.

Here is everything that's new in Gmail - plus when and how you can try it.

Gmail users may have waited for the new redesign. This will open the Google Admin console.
