Jared Kushner now has permanent security clearance

White House senior adviser Jared Kushner denied any wrongdoing in the Russia case last July and the administration is now restoring his top-level security clearance

President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, had his White House security clearance restored Wednesday, a person familiar with the matter said, after months of uncertainty stemming in part from his role in the ongoing investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.

The New York Times has confirmed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has concluded their background check into President Donald Trump's son-in-law and policy adviser.

"His application was properly submitted, reviewed by career officials, and went through the normal process", said Lowell.

His temporary clearance was suspended by White House Chief of Staff John Kelly in February along with other officials operating under temporary clearances as part of measures to tighten procedures after White House staff secretary Rob Porter was sacked when his two ex-wives raised charges of domestic abuse.

Lowell said the terms "witness or a subject or target of the investigation" were in fact "words that you guys in the media report and they make no sense to people who are practicing lawyers".

But Hyderabad suffered the first blow off the very first ball of the match when Dhawan cut one on to the stumps off Deepak Chahar. Chennai Super Kings have scripted history yet again as they defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 1 in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Lowell said that Kushner answered all questions that were asked.

Kushner was among several White House officials who spent the first year of the administration working on provisional clearances, meaning he was allowed to view classified information while his Federal Bureau of Investigation background check was pending, the daily said.

The first interview with Kushner occurred last fall.

Kushner subsequently amended the form once again after it was revealed that he met with Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya, who had met with him based on the promise that she had damaging information on Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Brown responded on Twitter, writing that Trump "is lying on immigration, lying about crime and lying about the laws of CA". I was talking about the MS-13. "I'm referring and you know I'm referring to the MS-13 gangs that are coming in".

The second interview occurred in April and concerned potential influence by foreign governments, including Russian Federation, and the firing of former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey, among other topics, Lowell said on CNN.

"For that job, he would normally need top secret and SCI", Zaid said. At one point, the White House had dozens of employees awaiting permanent clearances before Chief of Staff John F. Kelly ordered an overhaul of the process. But Kushner's troubles were compounded at least in part because his initial security clearance application didn't list dozens of foreign contacts that he later included in updated submissions to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Whether the restoration of Kushner's clearance is somehow related to his cooperation with Mueller is not immediately clear.

Kushner's application had been beset by multiple revisions and previously undisclosed contacts with foreign individuals. Kushner updated the SF-86 forms once more in June to include that meeting.

Some experts said that the evolving disclosures might have been disqualifying for another person and that it could explain the delay in granting Kushner a clearance.
