Trump calls on Montana senator to resign over release of allegations against White House doctor

Jon Tester of Montana, who released a list of allegations against Jackson that was compiled by the Democratic staff of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee.

However, Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont) wants the Senate to continue investigating Jackson, according to an article in USA Today.

On Thursday, U.S. Navy Rear Admiral and longtime White House Doctor Ronny Jackson withdrew his nomination to be the next Veteran's Affairs Secretary after being accused of professional misconduct through media reports.

Jackson expressed gratitude that the president had the trust and confidence to nominate him, but said the allegations became a distraction to care for veterans, who after all, should be the focus.

Starbucks CEO Apologizes for Racist Arrests at Philadelphia Store
Starbucks said Tuesday the company-owned stores and corporate offices will be closed on the afternoon of May 29 for the training. Police were told the men had asked to use the store's toilets but were denied because they had not bought anything.

Mr. Trump says that despite what happened with Jackson, many people are interested in the VA job.

Earlier, Trump said he was focused on an individual who had the "political capabilities" to steer past the White House's own spotty vetting procedures and opposition from Democrats that doomed the nomination of Jackson, Trump's personal physician and head of the White House medical unit.

On the allegation that Jackson wrecked a government vehicle after drinking at a Secret Service going away party: The official said the White House looked at General Services Administration records. Tester spokeswoman Marnee Banks told the AP the office would not comment until it knew more about the White House records.

Press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Jackson was back at work at the White House on Thursday.

Rob Gronkowski announces he is playing in 2018
The nightmare is now over as Schefter just posted that Don Yee, Brady's agent, expects his client to play in 2018 ... and beyond . To make matters more confusing, Gronk held a wacky press conference last Saturday during a Monster Energy Supercross event.

The official also pointed to a Secret Service statement refuting an allegation first reported by CNN that Jackson became intoxicated during an overseas trip in 2015 and banged on the hotel room door of a female employee.

The Secret Service said in a statement they had no record of any incident involving Jackson during his service as White House physician.

"If they had any merit, I would not have been selected, promoted and entrusted to serve in such a sensitive and important role as physician to three presidents over the past 12 years", he said. The report alleged that he made so much noise that the Secret Service intervened out of concern he would wake then-President Obama. Cosgrove recently retired as CEO of the Cleveland Clinic, an OH academic hospital, and has twice been considered for the VA secretary job, by Trump in 2016 and former President Barack Obama in 2014.

Tester will face one of several Republicans vying to face him in November, including former State Rep. Russell Fagg of Billings, businessman Troy Downing, State Sen.
