Tyson Fury comeback: Former heavyweight champion reveals new promoter and fight date

Tyson Fury gives sneak peek at workout routine as he says he's started to look like bodybuilder

The two were supposed to fight in a rematch in 2016, but injuries and Fury failing a drug test caused the rematch to be canceled.

Fury has signed with promoter Frank Warren while he has been linked with fighting former two-time world titleholder Shannon Briggs from Brooklyn, New York in the last couple of months.

"I'm the fittest I've ever been".

Fury's decision to sign up with Warren comes two weeks after Joshua urged him to sign with Matchroom Boxing - the promotion run by Eddie Hearn - in a bid to negotiate a fight.

Fury was also asked for his verdict on Wilder, at which point he named who was the better boxer between the American and Joshua. Wilder is risky until the last few seconds of a fight, only needs one punch, but he's a bit weak around the old whiskers and he's not the best boxer in the world.

Tyson Fury will fight for the first time in almost three years when he returns to the ring in Manchester on June 9.

Fury said he believes Deontay Wilder is "top of the pile" of the current crop of heavyweights but insisted "they're all very vulnerable and very beatable too".

Warren also said: "Until anyone beats Fury they can not rightfully call themselves the world heavyweight champion because he didn't lose his titles in the ring".

Fury hasn't fought since November 2015, when he so famously beat Wladimir Klitschko at the Esprit Arena, Dusseldorf, to become world heavyweight champion. "I'm better than I've ever been".

"He's going to be busy".

Fury said Joshua would be no match for him.

"He needs to be fighting fit, he needs to get those round under his belts".

"The agenda will be Tyson's, not anybody else's - when he is ready we will be good to go". But Fury, 29, has never fought again and vacated his titles one year later to focus on substance abuse and mental-health issues after testing positive for cocaine.

"I've got to congratulate the fella, he's done very well", he told a press conference in London.

"[Joshua] is an exciting fighter but I'm confident when I get in that ring, I will win".
