Battle over shrine to dead burglar Henry Vincent

KENT POLICEPolice dropped all charges against Mr Osborn-Brooks

Richard Osborn-Brooks, 78, fatally stabbed Henry Vincent who with an accomplice broke into the Hither Green house he shared with his disabled wife, Maureen, 76.

A local battle over a shrine dedicated to an intruder killed in south London played out for a third time on Tuesday night, as his family's floral tributes were once again removed from a fence outside the scene of the incident.

Mr Osborn-Brooks was arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail, but was told on Friday that no action would be taken.

This video shows a man in a beanie, who would not give his name, who said he was "taking these s*** flowers down" yesterday (April 10) and that they "need burning".

Vincent was stabbed to death by Richard Osborn-Brooks, 78.

A man who said he had lived in the street for more than 30 years said he had installed new locks on his house since last Wednesday's raid.

"Where can I put them?"

The stabbing happened outside a residence in the 100-block of Amanda Avenue in the city's North End around midnight on April 2, police said.

The Good Morning Britain host said police should clear the area daily, as the family of Henry Vincent and local people have become caught up in a turf war.

Two female relatives, accompanied by a police family liaison officer, were present for the brief hearing, during which police authorised the release of Vincent's body to his family.

"He wasn't a murderer, he wasn't a rapist, they're putting (sic) him as a monster", she added.

Since then, neighbours of Mr Osborn-Brooks and friends of the deceased criminal have waged an argument over whether it is appropriate for the tribute to remain outside the pensioner's home.

Trump Tower apartment fire kills one, injures four
Footage posted on social media showed flames and a vast amount of smoke billowing from one of the windows of the skyscraper. Trump was in Washington at the time, and officials said no members of his family were in the building during the incident.

The coroner told them: "I know you are having a terrible time, I am releasing the body to you".

I don't know what's wrong with these people (who dismantled them)...

A witness said an accomplice dragged Mr Vincent toward a van before leaving him for dead.

"It's disgusting. He [Vincent] is not a victim, he walked into someone's house", she said.

Police are hunting the 28-year-old after his white Vauxhall Astra van was found burnt out and destroyed over the weekend in Orpington, Kent.

Detectives want to hear from anybody who may have seen the van - with the registration GU52 AXT - in the days and hours before and after the burglary.
