North Korea tells United States it is prepared to discuss denuclearization

Kim Jong Un Discusses Future Talks with the US at a Party Meeting

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Monday provided a "profound analysis" on the prospect of dialogue between the DPRK and the USA, the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Tuesday.

And though the report said Kim had briefed officials outlook for dialogue between Washington and Pyongyang, it did not directly mention a planned meeting between the North Korean leader and U.S. President Donald Trump.

There had been some suspicion that the meeting might not happen because North Korea still hasn't publicly announced Kim's offer to meet Trump. The news was confirmed when North Korea has shown their willingness to discuss the issue. Also, no missile testing by North Korea during this period of time.

Details of the proposed meeting, including timing, remain unclear.

Guardiola and Klopp drew back in March 2017 when the match finished level at 1-1. Now, it is time for Guardiola to find a solution to the Liverpool problem.

Kim Jong Un as well as high ranking officials from the North have been engaging other countries in a flurry of diplomacy in recent weeks with the North Korean leader making a surprise visit to China last month, talking with President Xi Jinping.

"The U.S. has confirmed that Kim Jong Un is willing to discuss the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula", a senior administration official told the Washington Post, speaking anonymously.

"Kim Jong Un seems to feel secure domestically and he has nuclear weapons now, so he feels like he's entitled to be treated like a world leader", said Kim Seok-hyang, a professor of North Korean studies at Ewha Womans University in Seoul and an adviser to the South Korean president about his own summit.

"North Korea, by the way, as you've probably seen - and we've been in touch with North Korea - we'll be meeting with them sometime in May or early June", he said. During previous negotiations under different US administrations, the North has agreed to freeze its nuclear weapons program in exchange for the lifting of worldwide economic sanctions, only to violate the agreement by testing more weapons.

Chelsea , meanwhile, slip to 10 points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham in the race for Champions League qualification. The Belgian goalkeeper has not figured for the Blues since their 3-0 Champions League defeat to Barcelona on March 14.

"I think there will be great respect paid by both parties and hopefully there will be a deal on denuking", he said.

The meeting would be the first time a US President has met with a North Korean leader.

Since sending a high-profile delegation along with athletes to the Winter Games in the South in February, Kim has made his worldwide debut with a visit to Beijing - his first overseas trip since taking power in 2011.

It is scheduled to take place without the months of groundwork that usually precedes such meetings. Over the weekend, even American officials said they had received equivalent assurances right from mature North Korean counter parts. North Korea has reportedly insisted on holding the meeting in Pyongyang.
