Cambridge Analytica worked extensively in India, claims Christopher Wylie

The move comes as the social media giant battles privacy concerns in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

Despite British consultancy firm Cambridge Analytica's claim that it has deleted data of over 50 million Facebook users, portions of the data is still out in the wild, the media reported.

The official British note of approval was one of over 100 pages of documents handed over to the digital, media, culture and sport select committee by Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Christopher Wylie earlier this week, following a oral hearing that lasted almost four hours.

"We said the server should be hosted in India only".

NBA Friday Recap: LeBron James Sets Another Record
That evening, he had just eight points on 3-for-13 shooting in a Cavs win over the Milwaukee Bucks . Wade exemplified the Heat's performance, helping limit only two Cavs players to 15 points or more.

"In the 2009 general elections, SCL India managed the campaigns of a number of Lok Sabha candidates". "I've been getting a lot of requests from Indian journalists, so here are some of SCL's past projects in India".

In a tweet accompanying the documents, Wylie likened the firm's work in India to "modern day colonialism". SCL India, he said, has a database of over 600 districts and 7 lakh villages, which is constantly being updated.

Its reach in India is said to include a head office in Ghaziabad, with nine regional offices in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Cuttack, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Patna and Pune.

One of SCL's former India partners, Avneesh Kumar Rai, said in an interview that the documents that Wylie tweeted Wednesday misrepresented SCL's activities in India. "We provide our clients with the research to develop and disseminate the right messages, from the right sources, using the right communication channels", he said.

Lady Commanders win three straight at home
Junior utility player Tyra Smith had three hits and sophomore pitcher/first baseman Jacy Finley had 3 RBIs and 3 hits. Bronson split their season opening doubleheader with Colon winning the opener 11-0 but losing the second game 6-5.

The JD (U) went on to win the 2010 State elections as part of an alliance with the NDA.

Both the governing Bharatiya Janata Party and the opposition Indian National Congress deny hiring Cambridge Analytica's Indian counterpart for election campaigns and flung accusations at their rivals instead.

"Our services help clients to identify and target key groups within the population to effectively influence their behaviour to realise a desired outcome", the SCL India material claims. In 2007 it worked in Uttar Pradesh elections and in the same year, it did a research communication campaign to support a trans-national programme in Kerala, Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand and UP simultaneously.

A report from Channel 4 News claims that some of the data may not have been deleted and that they have directly seen data troves that date back to 2014.
