Daniel Bryan Is Going to Wrestle For WWE Again

The Dive Wrestle Mania 34 Shaping Up To Be Very Internet-Friendly

February 8, 2016 was the most heartbreaking night of Daniel Bryan's career when the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion had to make the emotional announcement that he would have to retire from in-ring competition due to injury.

Per WWE: "Bryan underwent a full review of his medical history and received comprehensive neurological and physical evaluations independent of WWE".

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio this afternoon that Bryan had went to Dr. Joseph Maroon, one of WWE's doctors that would not clear him, and asked him what he needed to do to get cleared.

Hundreds who evacuated remained at a pop-up recovery centre at nearby Bega, under the care of charities and volunteers. Ms Lewis, who recently moved to the area, says it's well known the beachside town has limited mobile reception.

Perhaps because that contract was nearing its end, or perhaps because WrestleMania 34 is fast approaching and could use a PR boost, the WWE announced Tuesday that it had chose to medically clear Bryan to return to action immediately. More recently, he's been involved in a major storyline involving Shane McMahon, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Wrestling fans have been torn between wanting Bryan back in the ring, but also understanding how serious an issue concussions are and not wanting him to risk long-term, serious health problems.

On Tuesday, he was cleared to return and the timing could not be better for Bryan and the WWE.

Bryan got a leg up the following year when he was signed into the World Wrestling Federation's development system.

A number of WWE superstars took to social media to mostly cheer the big news.
