Richard Sherman incentives 'too rich for Detroit's blood'

LOS ANGELES CA – DECEMBER 31 Aldrick Robinson

The NFC West is going to be fun this year.

When that was relayed to Sherman, he paused for a second.

"They reached out nearly immediately after I hit the wire", Sherman told Bay Area reporters on Monday.

When quizzed about Sherman's future at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine, head coach Pete Carroll stated that there was "nothing specific" to say with regards to trading Sherman. People are out there burning my jersey. The 2017 season was a hard one for the 31-year-old Cromartie, who didn't have an interception and was suspended for one game by then-coach Ben McAdoo for leaving practice without permission. "Now, if I play the way I know I'm capable of playing, I know I'm going to get paid". "I didn't abandon anybody". The deal includes a $5 million signing bonus and was negotiated by Sherman himself.

Bengals swap first-round picks with Bills for LT Cordy Glenn
Last summer, Glenn missed a significant portion of training camp and the preseason because of a lingering foot and ankle injury . He was limited to six games past year because of an injury to his left foot that eventually required surgery.

"Not too long after that, I got on a plane to San Francisco".

Justin Coleman, who was the team's starting nickel past year, is a restricted free agent and it is expected the Seahawks will tender him to keep him in the fold. So while he's certainly athletic, Sherman isn't fully reliant on his speed or quickness, which bodes well for his effectiveness post-Achilles injury.

And some of the incentives initially reported as being tied exclusively to the Pro Bowl are instead tied to making the All-Pro team, a much tougher task - $1 million for making it to the Pro Bowl and $2 million for making the All-Pro team. They also need a starter, although it's uncertain if Sherman's health will make him available for the season opener in early September, when he'd likely join Ahkello Witherspoon and nickel back K'Waun Williams as the 49ers' top three cornerbacks.

If Sherman meets all the incentives then he can make $13 million in 2018. If he does leave, Sherman will open up $11 million in salary-cap space for a team that seems to be in the process of transition. SB Nation noted that as veteran Seahawks players such as Sherman age, they are proving to be more expensive for the team to afford.

India, France to work for Indian Ocean freedom of navigation
The visiting leader asserted that the sea lanes can not be places for hegemonic power play, in a clear reference to China. France congratulates India on its leadership at lORA and the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS).

Sherman's 6-foot-3 frame is the prototype for a scheme the 49ers installed last season under defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, a former Seahawks assistant.

Sherman, painfully aware his Seahawks were one yard away from winning Super Bowl XLIX three years ago when Russell Wilson's interception ended the gam, just smiled at Lynch.

Shead played last season on a one-year contract for $1.05 million, appearing in only the final two games of the season due to a knee injury suffered in the playoff loss to Atlanta in January, 2017.

After missing out on Richard Sherman, the Detroit Lions are interested in another former Seattle cornerback.

Thomasville Fire Rescue offers free smoke detectors
Jason Keeling, American Red Cross said, "Around 39 people died in 2017 in West Virginia because their smoke alarms didn't work". The La Crosse Fire Department says the bi-annual time change is also a good chance to review your family's fire escape plan.

All adding just that much more to a storyline that is nowhere near complete.
