Marine Le Pen to reveal new name for National Front

National Front leader Marine Le Pen will meet Bannon at her party's convention in the French city of Lille on Saturday, her partner Louis Aliot said in a tweet.

Len Pen wants to change the name of the National Front, the party co-founded by her father in 1972.

The changes pave the way for a younger leadership circle to emerge, even if the party's ideological foundation remains unchanged: nationalist, identity-driven, anti-European Union, according to Jean-Yves Camus, an expert on the far-right.

To that end, rebranding the National Front's image is the primary goal of the "party congress" in Lille this weekend. "Wear it as a badge of honor", he told the crowd at the party congress.

Her poor showing in a final TV debate against Macron raised questions about her fitness to lead one of the world's biggest economies and in the months since both party and leader have appeared somewhat deflated.

Derrick Rose signs with Timberwolves, reunites with old coach
I think he's seen a lot of different things, he's familiar with what we're doing, he's played with some of the guys we have. Rose spent his first eight National Basketball Association years in Chicago , five of those with Thibodeau as his coach.

The new moniker, if approved by members during a mail-in vote, will mark the ultimate break with Le Pen's father, who has called the idea a betrayal.

On some level, the speech presented another development in the transatlantic relationship between far-right movements in the United States and Europe, particularly in France.

"You fight for your country and they call you racist".

His European tour centered on last weekend's Italian election, which Bannon called "an earthquake" after populist and anti-immigration parties outperformed traditional parties.

In the presidential election, it appeared this strategy paid off, as Le Pen gained more than 10 million votes (33.9 per cent) in the final round, despite her freaky and catastrophic performance in a debate with Macron, which cost her support. "Let them call you nativists", he said.

The companies are expected to identify challenges facing women in the workplace and share recommendations about how to solve them.

"The tide of history is with us, and it will compel us to victory after victory after victory". "Let them call you racists".

A recent opinion poll by Kantar Sofres confirmed the diagnosis: 55 per cent of respondents said they did not wish Le Pen to be the FN candidate at the next presidential election, and less than one in five believed she inspired confidence. Jean-Marie Le Pen also is to be scratched from the party's books along with his title of honorary president-for-life. Steve Bannon has given a big boost to French far right leader Marine Le Pen, telling a cheering crowd at a congress of her National Front party that "history is on our side".

"Right or left doesn't mean anything and doesn't reflect the real division in France today which is between those who feel the nation is an obstacle and those who feel the nation is a jewel to be defended", she said.

This week Le Pen seemed heartened by the strong gains made by the allied anti-immigrant League party in Italy's general election, hailing it as a "new stage in the awakening of the people". She bowed out of politics after her aunt's presidential defeat, but is expected to come back in a new role.

The European tour comes as Bannon's role in American politics is uncertain.
