Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo concept is an all-electric Porsche estate

Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo previews 600-hp electric crossover arriving in 2019

PORSCHE today unveiled its latest all-electric concept at the Geneva Motor Show - the Mission E Cross Turismo. This time, however, there will be no waiting to get behind the wheel, because as early as 2019, the production version of the current-carrying, nearly five-meter-long cross-utility vehicle should be on the road, which could be risky for USA electric auto giant Tesla.

Separately, Porsche expects the cross-utility variant of its all-electric Mission E sports auto to attract at least 20,000 buyers if it gets approved for production, Steiner said. It also included some performance data, boasting of a 600-horsepower output from twin electric motors and a 0-60 time under 3.5 seconds. The concept features 20-inch wheels with relatively modest 275 section tyres. Porsche's newest EV concept promises offload prowess with 310 miles of range and superfast charging with 250 miles added in just 15 minutes. Behold, the Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo concept. The vehicle charges using an 800V fast-charging system that integrates with a Porsche home energy management system.

Porsche is studying flying passenger vehicles, but expects it could take up to a decade to finalise technology before it can launch in real traffic, its head of development said on Tuesday.

The vehicle also benefits from all-wheel drive and torque vectoring, which Porsche says allows it to guarantee power on any surface.

VAR to be used at 2018 World Cup finals
Data from around a 1,000 trials showed that decision-making accuracy had increased from 93 per cent to nearly 99 per cent. However, VAR's use has been criticised by some people who feel it interrupts the flow of a game.

No plans to produce the Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo have been confirmed.

How fast does it charge and what's the driving range?

With the Mission E Cross Turismo concept, it is all about the flexibility.

We're not so sure about the eye-tracking control, which uses a camera in the rear-view mirror to detect which instrument the driver is looking at. The dash and center console appear to be entirely devoid of buttons, relying instead on touch displays, but the steering wheel at least looks like it's right out of the company parts bin. The boot floor also features a system of sliding rails and straps for securing loads, such as pushbikes or surfboards.

Manchester City 1-0 Chelsea: Player Ratings
Manchester City were the ones who dominated the game, applying all the pressure while going forward. It's a pity for the goal we conceded after 30 seconds of the second half, that changed the game.

Everything in the cabin has been created to be flexible enabling everyday practicality or, in the words of Porsche: "Modern load-carrying systems facilitate the transport of surfboards or a Porsche e-bike".

It's not exactly an SUV either, although it rides higher than a normal vehicle.

Porsche has also joined the electric mobility movement amongst auto manufacturers.

Apple plans to develop high-end headphones
There are also concerns that this new product could end up cannibalizing sales from the Beats brand that's also owned by Apple. In addition to that, the report says the new Apple headphones were scheduled to launch sometime at the end of this year.
