U.S. woman wakes up with British accent

Michelle has now come to terms with her new voice

The US native has spoken with an English accent for two years now, despite never having left the country. But a British accent has lingered for two years now. She says that often people don't believe she isn't British nor do they realize there isn't actually that much amusing about the situation, at least not for Myers, who says she wants her condition to be taken very seriously.

She's not insane, she just suffers from a rare condition.

Diagnosed with foreign accent syndrome in April 2016, apart from thinking there has to be a connection with her headaches, Michelle has no idea why this has happened.

"I have been diagnosed with hemiplegic migraines - meaning my headaches are accompanied by temporary weakness on one side of the body and numbness", she told the United Kingdom outlet.

Myers also has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a condition that causes bruising and painful joints - and it turned her accent British.

Rahul assures win in Karnataka Assembly polls
Rahul Gandhi is campaigning in poll-bound Karnataka ahead of upcoming assembly elections in the state. The deal was better in aspects such as capability, price and equipment, it said in a statement.

Looking back at how she used to be is hard, Myers says.

It turns out that Michelle Myers does have a medical history that would lend itself to Foreign Accent Syndrome and cause the voice changes after she fell asleep with a headache.

Foreign accent syndrome (known as FAS - it has a acronym so it must be legit!) is allegedly a real thing that happens to people.

The condition is usually triggered by an issue with blood flow to the brain, like a stroke or a head injury.

Michelle said: "When I was a little girl I used to always go to my mom and say, 'my bones hurt, '".

US Airstrikes Kill 100 Russian and Syrian Fighters, Reports Say
US advisers called in a rare strike Thursday on Syrian-backed forces in Deir el-Zour, site of most of Syria's oil and gas fields. It also said it was aware only of 25 Syrian militia members having been wounded in the USA strikes.

"I hollered and this time came out with an Australian accent".

The 45-year-old said doctors diagnosed her with FAS, likely a side-effect from a hemiplegic migraine, which is similar to a stroke. Affected people may also cut out articles such as "the" and drop letters, turning an American "yeah" into a Scandinavian "yah", for instance. Only 60 cases have been recorded since it was first named and described in 1907 by a French neurologist called Pierre Marie, but whenever a case is reported, it receives a lot of media attention.

With such a rare disease, there aren't many resources dedicated to research. It cleared itself up shortly thereafter, but a subsequent stroke sent her into a spiral of different accents that each last just weeks. Alamia says, "I don't feel like a different person at all".

She said: "I felt like I lost a person". Meyers said, adding that more people should take the condition seriously.

Watch Rockhold vs Romero Fight Online
That was the first of nine takedowns during the fight, as Blaydes cruised to a unanimous decision on a pair of 30-26s and a 29-27. However, several medical issues forced Whittaker off the card, forcing UFC officials to book Rockhold against Romero instead.
