Ohio Supreme Court Justice Bill O'Neill, the only Democrat holding a state elected office, says he stands by a controversial Facebook post in which he disclosed he'd had more than 50 lovers and revealed some identifying details about them. She also plans to give O'Neill's past campaign donations to organizations helping women.

Ohio Democratic Chairman David Pepper also commented on the quickly escalating controversy, calling it "just a awful post" that dehumanized women and trivialized an important national conversation about rape culture and sexual assault.

"We're having a serious national conversation about rape culture and sexual harassment, and it's crucial for men to take time to listen to women and consider their experiences and insights", Pepper wrote on Twitter, adding: "Justice O'Neill's Facebook comments both dehumanize women and do nothing but trivialize this important conversation, which is actually about harassment and abuse, not encounters between consenting adults".

O'Neill's post was immediately met with outrage from both sides of the political spectrum in OH, with most calling for him to withdraw from the governor's race immediately.

O'Neill's campaign manager, Chris Clevenger, resigned from his position with the campaign.

Mind you, O'Neill also happens to be a sitting state Supreme Court justice.

O'Neill confirmed that he wrote the post. He called the post "disturbing and misguided" and said he had no prior knowledge O'Neill was making it.

"In the last fifty years I was sexually intimate with approximately 50 very attractive females", the gubernatorial candidate boasted.

And though there are calls for him to resign, he says there's no way.

Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Judge Roy Moore is facing accusations from several women, the youngest of whom was 14 at the time of the alleged assault.

. He even inadvertently said he had slept with a US senator!

Geyh said he was "a bit on the fence" on how to react to O'Neill's post from a potential misconduct angle.

While O'Neill corrected the post to remove the mention of Taft, his original post was preserved for all eternity by a screenshot. He also appeared to show how he felt about the recent onslaught of reports of sexual misconduct against entertainers, executives and politicians by saying he was speaking up for "all heterosexual males" and that he was "sooooo disappointed by this national feeding frenzy about sexual indiscretions decades ago".
