Twitter responds after Trump's account briefly deactivated by departing employee

Departing Twitter employee deactivates Trump's account

In response to Twitter's statement about its investigation, one user said: "I am assuming you're investigating who should get a million dollar bonus?"

By Friday Morning, Trump responded to the situation by deeming the person responsible a "rogue" employee.

Trump frequently uses Twitter to announce policy, assail his adversaries and to tangle with countries, including North Korea, over world affairs.

Krajinovic, a Serbian qualifier will now play in Saturday's semi-final, going up against the victor of Juan Martin del Potro and John Isner's quarter-final.

Yet it turns out the rogue employee was not a full-time employee at Twitter at all, according to two people briefed on the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the details are confidential. Twitter promised a "full internal review".

After the account was restored Trump did not tweet about the vanishing act, but made several posts on other topics.

Reuters could not determine how many Twitter employees had the authority to delete accounts or if any had the ability to tamper with them in other ways, such as by sending bogus tweets.

SC to decide if LG is administrative boss of Delhi
The constitution bench is hearing Delhi government's appeal challenging the Delhi High Court verdict holding that the Lt. Governor had the primacy over the elected government in administration of the national capital.

The employee's bold move sparked a flurry of praise from fellow Twitterati, with many suggesting the disgruntled employee should should be in line for a hefty bonus.

The lawyers also said that Justice Department lawyers defending Trump were wrong to say the president has a right to choose not to hear some critics. Twitter initially said the account had been "inadvertently deactivated due to human error", but later indicated it was done intentionally by a departing customer support employee.

Trump's account disruption comes hours after tweeting that he was backing off the idea of sending the NY terrorism suspect to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, calling for a regular federal trial and the death penalty instead.
