Matt Damon Knew About Gwyneth Paltrow's Weinstein Sexual Harassment Story

Director George Clooney and cast member Julianne Moore pose at the premiere for ‘Suburbicon’ in Los Angeles California

Many big Hollywood names have reacted to the news of Harvey Weinstein's alleged serial sexual misconduct with shock and horror, claiming they had no knowledge of the decades of harassment and assault, including rape, claimed by the producer's many accusers.

George Clooney and Matt Damon spoke to ABC News about Weinstein.

Damon opened up to Michael Strahan about his history with Weinstein and said everyone knew he was a "bully".

"You had to spend about five minutes with him to know that he was a bully, he was intimidating". "I didn't necessarily believe him, quite honestly, because to believe him would be to believe kind of the worst of some actresses who were friends of mine".

More than 30 women accuse another Hollywood director of sexual harassment
Eight of the 12 movies Toback has directed were released after the Spy article; two were released after the Gawker articles. More than 40 women have accused Weinstein of inappropriate behavior, ranging from sexual harassment to rape.

Damon's frequent collaborator, George Clooney, was also present for the Good Morning America interview, during which he revealed Weinstein would frequently boast about famous women he had had affairs with - but The Descendants star always thought he was lying.

George's comments come amid the scandal involving Harvey Weinstein.

"When people say like, 'Everybody knew, ' Like, yeah", Damon began. "I think we're all going to have to get to the point where women feel safe to talk about this, where they feel believed and where the men that do this don't feel safe".

Damon first worked with Weinstein on his first movie, the critically-accailmed "Good Will Hunting", which shot Damon into stardom.

Kurt Angle Wrestling At WWE TLC 2017; Replacing Roman Reigns
The WWE also confirmed that a blockbuster match=up between AJ Styles and Finn Balor has been added to the card. Angle returned to WWE earlier this year and has been vocal about wanting to wrestle again in a WWE ring.

The actors-who've worked on various projects with Weinstein in the past-went into detail about what they knew about his behavior.

Weinstein has been blamed for sexually irritating, attacking or assaulting more than 40 ladies; police have propelled examinations in London, New York City and Los Angeles; he as of now has been ousted from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and procedures have started to show him out of the TV Academy and the Producers Guild. "I wouldn't want to be married to the guy, but that's not my business really", he added.

Since the article that was publshed in the New York Times about Weinstein, women all across the country have become more vocal about their encounters with sexual harrassment in the workplace. Ben told me, but I knew that they had come to whatever agreement or understanding they had come to. "But I was working with Gwyneth, with Harvey, on [The Talented Mr.] Ripley", Damon said.

Gwyneth Paltrow's ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck issued a general statement earlier this month condemning Harvey Weinstein's behaviour. Clooney said it was "infuriating" for him to read stories about reporters who investigated the scandal. You know? If it can happen to someone as powerful as Harvey, it can happen to anybody.
