Bomb scare at Paris airport on plane bound for London

Armed police individually searched all the passengers while sniffer dogs checked the aircraft

Paris: Police said a security alert on a British Airways plane in Paris on Sunday was a false alarm.

Passengers were removed from the plane at Charles de Gaulle airport in the French capital early on Sunday morning.

One passenger said that those on board the plane were told there had been a "direct threat" to the aircraft. "We will continue on to London Heathrow".

"We were then told the aircraft had to move to another part of the airport".

British Airways wrote on its website: "We're very sorry, this flight has been delayed significantly".

Passenger James Anderson, 20, told how he was initially told flight BA0303 was facing delays over technical issues ahead of its departure to London Heathrow. We will all be led off the aircraft and baggage searched in due course.

He continued: "I believe the intention is to return to the same plane assuming the search is all clear".

"The pilot then said there had been a direct security threat involving our flight specifically". The passengers were picked up by airport staff before re-boarding.

What Congress Did To Get Trump to Condemn White Supremacy
Trump would take this chance to meet with people of different backgrounds who have faced discrimination. The Senate - the upper chamber of U.S. government - had already approved the measure on Monday.

As reported by the Independent, a spokesperson for British Airways said in a statement that their top priority is always the safety and security of both their customers and the airline crew.

The flight eventually took off three hours later after security checks. "We would never operate a flight unless it is safe to do so".

The scare came after Britain raised its terror threat level to "critical" after London Underground train bombing on Friday that left 30 people injured.
