A teacher was put on leave and is under investigation after he allegedly got physical with a student who refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Stone had quite recently begun his first week at East Middle School, yet his family isn't sure on the off chance that he'll backpedal. He says that he was sitting during the pledge on September 7, when the teacher came up behind him and snatched him out of his seat.

Stone said another teacher the next day yelled at him to stand up. School officials have offered to switch the sixth-grader to another homeroom or another school within the district, Chaney said, but he has not yet made a decision. "I pledge to God and family", he said. "I was so confused, I didn't know what was going on". He added that while he understood that veterans and others might disagree with his son's decision to protest the flag, it is ultimately his right to do so. She also told him he would need a special note to be allowed to sit. "I'm going to say we're quite disappointed", he told board members, standing with his four sons.

Heitsch said the district supports each student's right to decide whether to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance.

At this time, Chaney and his parents stated they do not know if he will return back to that school. "The teacher allegedly involved in the incident has been placed on administrative leave pending the conclusion of the investigation".

"If they're fighting for freedom they're fighting for us to have choices, then it's our choice", said Mr. Chaney. He's not anxious about what other people think of him'. He attends East Middle School in the Farmington district.

Fantasy Football managers crushed by Spurs team to play Swansea
Mauricio Pochettino was in an unusually candid mood in his press conference ahead of Saturday's match against Swansea City . Dortmund played really well, they dominated the first half.

"How many kids would be such critical thinkers and leaders to be able to walk to their own beat and blaze their own path?"

Stone was asked what he would say to those who are critical of people who don't stand during the pledge. They said that they will likely pull Stone out of the district entirely.

According to the 12-year-old, he was sitting during the pledge as he has done without incident since he was in the second grade. And after that, if anything like this happens again, the teacher should be fired and never be allowed to teach in any public school ever again.
