Limbaugh evacuates South Florida after claiming Hurricane Irma was a liberal hoax

Al Roker rips Rush Limbaugh for Hurricane Irma conspiracy theories

After arguing on his radio show that Hurricane Irma is a conspiracy theory created to make people believe in climate change, Rush Limbaugh is evacuating Florida to get out of harm's way. I'm not going to get into details because of the security nature of things, but it turns out that we will not be able to do the program here tomorrow.

Rush Limbaugh closed out his popular radio program on Thursday by announcing he would be off the air on Friday and broadcasting next week from "parts unknown" as he and other residents of Palm Beach were ordered to evacuate before Hurricane Irma made landfall in Florida.

"There is a desire to advance this climate change agenda, and hurricanes are one of the fastest and best ways of doing it", Limbaugh said.

First day first show: Prince George makes school debut with daddy Duke
You can see he's a little nervous, as he doesn't really want to hold hands with her, but Prince William totally has his back. The royal also joked that he was pleased another parent had problems with their child, rather than him and Prince George .

"You don't need a hurricane to hit anywhere", he asserted. And so, Limbaugh has had to grab his figurative - although for all we know he actually has one - tinfoil hat and move to safer ground.

Earlier in the week, Limbaugh essentially accused the media of hyping up Hurricane Irma as a way to boost ratings and because the media has a "symbiotic relationship" with retailers who profit from people buying supplies in advance of storms. The president has pulled out all the stops to make sure Florida has the federal resources it needs ahead of the storm.

Hurricane Irma has already claimed lives in the Caribbean.

Cops are launching their own counter national anthem protest
Browns Defensive Back Jamar Taylor was one of the players who knelt at the preseason game. They are entitled to say what they feel, just like I've always said about our players.

You have people in all of these government areas who believe man is causing climate change, and they're hell-bent on proving it, they're hell-bent on demonstrating it, they're hell-bent on persuading people of it. And it's not the hurricane center doing that. "Hypocrisy, thy name is Rush Limbaugh".

"The local media ... reports in such a way as to create the panic way far out, which sends people into these stores to fill up with water and to fill up with batteries, and it becomes a never-ending repeated cycle", he said. But even if Irma doesn't take out Mar-a-Lago, climate change eventually will. The Guardian reported past year that "water is already creeping up bridges and advancing on access roads, lawns, and beaches because of sea-level rise" near Mar-a-Lago. But it's particularly disgusting that, after Limbaugh told people not to worry about the storm and then made a decision to evacuate, he didn't have the decency to walk back his comments and admonish his listeners to heed warnings about the storm. Well, now, two of them are hitting and they can barely contain themselves.
