Sebastian Gorka delivers masterful defense of Trump's military transgender ban

Trump says his administration will block transgender people from serving in the military

That President Trump appeared to circumvent the Joint Chiefs, the Secretary of Defense and the military as a whole will not sit well with McCain or, indeed, many Republicans who hold the military in great esteem.

Evangelical Christian leaders who informally advise President Donald Trump briefly discussed the issue of banning transgender individuals from serving in the military during a meeting at the White House earlier this month.

In a series of tweets sent out on Wednesday, the controversial politician argued: "Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming... victory and can not be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail". President Trump aims to change that by taking the military down a discriminatory path rooted in malicious bias towards members of our LGBTQ community. At the time, the most common reason for failure was asthma. There are around 15000 active transgender members serving now. "I think the cost of getting rid of very well-specialized, trained military service people is exponentially larger than just taking care of them", she said. "Our armed forces were actively integrating transgender service members", said George Perezvelez a Navy Veteran and a member of the executive board of the East Bay Stonewall Democratic Club. The study discovered that allowing transgender people in the army would have negligible impact on readiness and health care costs for the Pentagon. And that is the most important factor by which we should evaluate changes to existing military personnel policy. Not million, billion. Sometimes we like to think that one million and one billion are figures that are comparable to one another, but, for size comparison, one million seconds is 11.5 days, whereas one billion seconds is 37.7 years.

UFC 214 Results: Jon Jones Crushes Daniel Cormier in 3rd Round
But despite the pair being involved in a heated war of words between their two fights, Jones paid tribute to Cormier afterwards. He finally regained the belt after being formally stripped of the title in 2015 after his part in a hit-and-run accident.

The Department of Defense was given until July 1 of this year to implement the policy, with LGBT advocates hopeful that transgender soldiers would finally be able to serve openly.

Another issue with the idea of a transgender ban is blatant government ignorance of the fact that not all transgender individuals opt to have their bodies surgically altered or opt for hormone therapy.

Transgender costs add up to only around $2.4 million to $8.4 million. Will the ban take effect immediately or will there be an adjustment period? Will the military compensate the transgender people that it discharges, or will they be left high and dry without benefits? And with his administration's Department of Justice filing a federal court brief asserting that discrimination on the basis of gender identity is legal, the situation for trans Americans will only get worse.

NYPD responds to Trump comments on using force during arrests
And as the President noted in a recent interview with The New York Times , "there are very few Republicans in Baltimore, if any". The Suffolk County Police Department wants its cops to know that they shouldn't listen to President Donald Trump's directions.

Calls seeking clarification from the Pentagon were redirected Wednesday to the White House, where spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said implementation of the ban is "something that the White House and the Department of Defense have to work together to lawfully determine".

Early Wednesday morning, President Trump announced his decision not to allow those who identify as transgender to serve the US military in any capacity.

Canada was ahead of the U.S.in terms of racial integration, and in 1982 we took a major step in terms of sexually integrating our armed forces by allowing women into heretofore men only combat arms trades.
